Youth empowerment through the power of design.

Young Architects Workshop (YAW) is a community arts center based program that creates a way to expose teens to field of architecture.  YAW is an incubator for challenging young minds to use design to develop creative and thoughtful solutions to social issues in the neighboring communities.

The Young Architects Workshop is a program of The M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County, Arts and Cultural Heritage Division.  The Department of Parks and Recreation encourages and supports the participation of individuals with disabilities.
